Notre Dame 31, USC 34

After a rather uneventful bye weekend, way too many midterms, a long break from the blog, and the greatest game in college football history, i decided it was, once again, a good time to continue my blogging. The weekend started early here at Notre Dame as everyone started gearing up for #1 USC and #9 Notre Dame. So, in order to get the weekend off right, 3B held their annual Yukka party before the pep rally, led by the one and only Skipper....always a good way to start the weekend.
After conquering all the fumes of gasoline, i think i began hallucinating. So...out of no where, this large wooden horse shows up and tells us to follow him...so we did! We followed this horse right into Notre Dame Stadium with the rest of the 45,000 people who wanted a piece of the pep rally. So, this trojan horse really did show up to the pep rally, but only to drop of this weeks secret weapon - D.r Poz and his delicious Wardynski's, of course!
Well, supposedly, Bon Jovi and The Boss were suppose to show up at the pep rally, Brad Pitt was hanging out with the children in LaFortune, and Nick and Jessica came too; but the only celebrities i saw this weekend were Johnny Damon, Nelly, and Jesus.
But before i get ahead of myself, i can't forget about our failed mission to camp out on the College GameDay prairie field, good attempt for most of us (nice try diver). So, we had this great idea to camp out outside the GameDay set-up, assuming we would then be in line for the front row. We got there around 12:30 in the morning and stayed as long as we could. Well, that is until everyone began cutting in front of us after we waited 6 hours. To say the least, i was pretty upset, and so was the rest of the gang. But don't worry, everyone cheered up when Johnny and I showed up to the Poz tailgate hungry, with Wardynski's on our minds! I took Johnny with me to the Poz tailgate to make sure everything was being taken care of now that Rohn is MIA. I mean, someone had to pick up the slack!
After recovering from our GameDay fiasco, we were off for the greatest day of our lives, that is, until those 7 seconds were added back onto the clock. But still, with so much talk surrounding the game, and tickets selling for hundreds of dollars, i am glad i held onto mine - come on, real fans don't sell tickets!
Go Green...gotta love those green jerseys! 1-2-3 Dogpile! Pretzel and Cheesee...please!! (Apologies to all you text messaging recipients!)
It's always a dangerous mix when you combine dog piling and pretzel's with cheese...just ask Andrew Forrero! Not a happy camper after he was covered in cheese after a Notre Dame touchdown. But not that upset, i mean we did score a touchdown.
Recalling this whole weekend really gives me the chills, yet makes me want to cry at the same time. But i think we came out better than before - after a bye week and a loss to the number 1 team in the nation, our ranking actually improved...go figure. But for now, its back to Ohio for me, looking forward to a week with Bailey, the Coopster, and possibly a very interesting camping trip!

p.s. this is my roommate Sam sleeping.
