Fiesta Bowl!!

We may not have gotten any presents from under the tree this year, but Pat and I still may have gotten the best presents since those roller blades we got when i was in 1st grade. So, instead of getting a new pair of roller blades, the parents decided to send us to the Fiesta Bowl. Well darn, i was really hoping i wouldn't have to. Not! So, i flew into LA after a night at the Windsor Casino with the parents, and hung out with Pat and the gang for the next week. hmmm....

As usual, the week started off pretty solid with a nice 5.5 hour drive through the desert to Tempe for the game. We made it about 1 hour into the trip before our first detour pulled us to the side of the road just in the nic of time before Pelner had to let one loose. Good thing we were in Pat's little silver race car he uses to fly around Cali in. It was almost as good as Pelner's dance moves he showed us the night before.
After ditching Pelner, Jingles, and his twin, Pat and I finally made it into the stadium with our new shag. And before the game could even start, we had to overcome the harsh acceptance when that old OSU lady flipped me off when i had to kick her out of our seats. She must not have liked Joe Dirt. But thats all the real excitement i got out of the game. It was an awesome time, even though we lost. Which, by the way, i am still devastated by the fact that we left this brillant design of a mullet inside Sun Devil Stadium. So, if anyone comes across a mullet this clean, please notify me asap. But still, Pat and I stayed in the Wonder Bread guest house and played pool until the wee hours of the mornings as Kobe and his other lizard friends scattered around the desert. What else could you really ask for? Too bad my camera wasn't working by this time.Well, once the dip starting to dry and the car freshners started kicking in, we were back in LA, with another 6 days to waste together at Maloney's with Tron 8000 (the gentle giant). Well, besides meeting with Dennis Keane, visiting Kyle Dagan's family, hanging out with MelonHead, working with Uncle Kelly, going to our hostel meeting with Pelner, working out in Pat's make shift weight room, and pounding sushi, and destroying girls in tennis there wasn't really much going on. After spending these days in LA i am pretty sure that i want to transfer to the beach and just be a bum. Seeing on how all these fun people are stuck up in offices all day just don't seem so fun. But, i guess thats what has to happen to maintain the stripper lifestyle of Dirty Mark. But, when all the dip ran dry and the tin emptied, i knew it was time to board that plane, and soon enough i was back in the Dirty D with Jack on my way back to start planning my next trip away from the cold.
