Kickoff 2009: Day 3, 4, 5

Luckily we had 4 days to recooperate and rest in Scottsdale before we were on the move again. We stayed at the Sullivan Center's guest house - Rohn and I had our own pool, pool table, and some great beds to sleep in. Rohn was able to sell his shirts pretty easily, so our time was pretty stress-free in Scottsdale.

On our second day in the desert, we made our way to Humboldt, AS to go "Dude-Ranching" with our pal Buzz Fournier - a CCHS grad who moved our west to live his dream as a rancher. It was a lot of fun getting to tour his ranch in his pick-up truck feeding the herd and walking around the terrain. Dogs were chasing little kittens, fierce cattle were grazing, and other dude things surrounded us on this short trip.
On our way back to our temporary home, Rohn successfully killed a coyote in broad daylight by accelerating our car into the poor little guy. It was pretty amazing actually, I didnt even see the thing, I only heard the loud smash of my license plate and John wimpering. Rohn was pretty shook up after this experience, and I almost had to take our the pilot seat for the rest of the trip.
