Today start

ed out like most, with me almost killing poor little Frommer's for waiting me up this morning. And i think that goes for everyone on this morning - especially Smeagol. It was a long night, and i dont think any of us were ready to tour the entire city of Rome - except Frommers that is.
It was John Kelly's last day in Rome, and lucky him,

he got to spend it giving us a grand tour of the city! So, we first hit all the big spots and learned all about the Forum, the Colosseum, and the Vatican. But none of these places really compared to the many random water fountains placed throughout the city. It was nice for once to have nice, cold, free water coming straight out of some fancy f

ountain for us to drink. Amazing! It was quite the day for us considering no one even felt like moving. And John was definitely the best tour guide ever - always knowing things! Hmm, and he always made sure we had some wine and had a place to go out..
But before dinner we had permission from the elders to go ahead an fall asleep before

our regular 2 hour romantic dinners we all shared each night. After dinner we checked out the really cool Trevi Fountain and the Spanish Steps. And, after doing this, we realized we pretty much saw everything worth-while in the city of Rome. Definitely the coolest sites we saw all trip...but maybe just because we had the expert, John, with us.
So, John had been

in Rome the entire year studying, and tonight was his last night, so we had a lot of people and places to see! Throughout the night, P-Dog lunged through the city of Rome, we said our goodbyes to our boy Mickey, Smeagol and John formed a pretty cool dance team, Nic disappeared, Kat was there, and

the lights went out at the last bar we were at. Kinda shady. So thats when we decided it was time to go. Plus it was almost 4, and John had to caught his flight at 6! I really don't know how he did it considering the condition he was in. And if it wasnt for trusty old Pelner, there was no way he could have fit all of his luggage in that brown paper bag!
So, it was a night. Nic spent his night away from the crowd - ch

oosing to hang out with his Italian friends at the hot dog stand instead of us, P-Dog bought at least 5 really cool disposable cameras for us to share, we bought some really cool Popener's blessed by the Pope, and still havent done any wash. We smell awesome.
