WE'RE GOING TO ESPN ZONE!!!! Well, every trip has to start somewhere, and ours started with a grand tour of the entire city of Chicago. If you have never been to Chicago before, it is a rather large city with lots of hidden pizza places. So, if you are lucky enough to run into one, make sure you go inside and eat pizza. Anyway,
Scott Smith (a real life celebrity) and HumDog decided to join me on my trip to chicago the weekend before spring break. Our initially plans were to drop off Hummer at the airport and then take my car to my uncle's for the weekend. But, instead we thought it would be a good idea to drive around the city of Chicago, basically the whole city, in search of real Chicago pizza. And you would think if you were from Chicago, like Scott Smith is, you would know where to find some pizza. But, that is actually not true. So, after fasting for the first 15 hours of our day(it is lent), we finally ran into Pizzeria Due. And delicious it was..

So, this spring

break started out as well as i could have imagined. The trip to Chicago was fun. I got to teach the Chicago cousins how to skateboard (i am a skater boy), hung out with Patrick "dirt ball" McGarry, and then of course our 6:45 plane ride Fort Lauderdale. The trip was a success for sure, but i did make one major mistake this week - the lack of pictures, obviously!
Most of our time in Fort Lauderdale was spent on the beach, of course! But still, we did a lot of other things. Our tour guide Mike Shea showed us the ropes, doing things like...trying to

be mexican again, cruising along A1A with our BooBox, babysitting Hummer, practicing for the Mike Bulfin Swim Team,

picking up hot babes (Mrs. Bulfin was enough for us), listening to Jack Johnson over and over while being stranded on the beach, and in our free time we just watched Hummer's life go
down the drain.
We did form the first, and best ever umm...ah..Mike Bulfin..ah..Dive Team! Showing off our action packed 10 meter tower dives! On tuesday we got to spend the day with Grandpa Spittler and shoot a round of golf. And after we warmed up the first six holes, im pretty sure i was tied with gramps for first place. Only if Hummer wasnt s

o serious the whole tim

e. But throughout the week, we proved to ourselves that we aren't really the
golfing type (escpecially Bulfin). After spilling our cooler over A1A in broad daylight in front of speeding traffic, you would think we would take that as a warning to the day, but we decided not to. Hummer was in true form. Ending the day with no phone, a black eye, and a toilet seat as a pillow...only to be moved to the blow-up mattress by Mrs. Bulfin. Jordan showed us his spectacular sun bathing technique. It starts by not putting on any sun screeen, and then preceding to fall asleep on the beach for a couple hours. I guess they do

n't get much sun in Effingham because he

spent the rest of the week covered in Aloe. But, still, it wasn't all playfor us over break. We had some serious conversations every once and a while. But none as serious as the time Ming called to discuss little Bulfins midterm exam. "You can take a walk too, Dad!" I guess thats what happens when you are about to fail out of school...
Blake Haudan showed up for a visit...only for the day though! It was well worth it too, because he is finally worthy of making the blog! About time, Blake!
This is Bulfin getting into his first car accident!
Most likely because he looks like a complete idiot..

Sums up our week pretty well!
